  • Death Duty should make the cut on 10st 1lbs - interesting.

Surely they'll give it a go with Tiger Roll off 11st 4lbs - specially as the stable can manipulate the top of the handicap by running Conflated or Galvin.

Wouldn't surprise me if Gordon runs 11!!!!!!!!!

    Galvin or Conflated 11st 10lbs
    Tiger Roll 11st 4lbs
    Delta Work 11st 3lbs
    Run Wild Fred 11st 1lbs
    Mount Ida 10st 13lbs
    Escaria Ten 10st 9lbs
    Farclas 10st 9lbs
    Coko Beach 10st 7lbs
    Braeside 10st 5lbs
    Milan Native 10st 2lbs
    Death Duty 10st 1lbs

What a team that would be

    My 3 against the field:

    Enjoy D'Allen
    Freewheelin Dylan
    Run Wild Fred

Ontheropes had to be backed when 365 went 100/1 for this after his loss at Christmas.

      picks so far;
Ontheropes, Freewheelin Dylan with Galvin most likely a loser already.

      • Yes backed Ontheripes at 100s and E10 at 33s. Madness going 100s

“His weight is absolutely perfect and exactly what we were hoping for. We have been thrilled with how he has run this season and we’re training him for the Grand National, hence we have given him a light campaign. The plan is now to go straight to Aintree and we are really excited to be going. He’s a grand jumper and loves the hustle and bustle of a big field so the Grand National should be perfect for him.”

Like this one myself. If you want any more on then I'd take the 25/1 now....just in case there is any news in the next few days that will see it shorten further.

                  • Could well go shorter too when some news breaks.

Been taking all the 33s 25s and 20s. Not as fancy as Rich has got mind you!
But better late to the party than not to turn up!

                        • Very cryptic! Already on at 25s, but curious what on earth this news can be. Not enough to make me lump more on in a race that can be a bit of a lottery though…

                          • Fair enough run for Fiddlerontheroof that. Although seemed to be struggling a few times on the ground. Probably like to see him get a break now until the national but he's a horse I could see getting on well with the National.

Got Escaria Ten covered already. And Enjoy D'allen is the only other one I've got pencilled in to back. Despite the above conversation I think he's already short enough though. I'll wait that one out.

                            • JP has bought Enjoy D'Allen - assume that was the news!

                              • Just scanning through them without much thought two that stood out were Farclas who was only a 7-y-o last year and the redoubtable Snow Leopardess who is proven over the fences. Both greys so easier to follow through the race. A lot will depend on going, riding plans and who actually runs of course.
