....I took the 250-1 ‘win Ladbroke/GN’ and the 28-1 place offers for Cloth Cap with Hills. I’d have backed it anyway, so nice tickets to be sitting even if probably worthless in the long run.

Was more pointing out that he was now 33s in a place presumably pushed out after the galmoy
just watch his irish national back that says it all- He jumps like a stag
- Hes a strong traveller
- Hes a strong stayer
- Hes now the right age which he wasn't last year
- Hes unexposed and open to improvement
- Hes been campaigned over hurdles for a good while to protect his chase mark
- Hes trained by a genius
- He'll be ridden by Paul townend

Does anyone have a record of how far down the original list they go year on year for runners to get in this ?Madmoose quoted Kerry Lee when asked about Storm Control who sits 77th, she seems convinced that won’t make it but I’m sure there have been years when those in the 80s and 90s sneak in.

Kimberlite Candy is going to be my main bet for this and took 28/1 a while ago.
He appeared to love the fences when he finished 2nd in the Becher and the whole season looks too have been geared around the National - has an entry in a Pertemps qualifier this week.
Of the others, I've backed Discorama (sounds like he's unlikely to run) and Milan Native so far.Comment

The ground may be too soft for him tomorrow but id hope that he beats acapella bourgeois receiving 6lb
