Rich Revival pictured on his way to victory at a foggy Navan earlier this Progressive chaser Rich Revival could have the rest of his season geared around the Ladbrokes Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse over Easter.
Now nine, Liz Doyle's gelding has only run twice over fences but won both starts in a beginners' race at Fairyhouse and then when staying on to land a handicap chase at Navan.
"I think we'll stay down the handicap route and possibly the Irish National is the race for him," Doyle said.
"He's rated 129 now, and you'd hope he could sneak in off a nice weight
"The four-miler at Cheltenham had crossed my mind, but I'm not sure all the ups and downs, particularly on quicker ground, would be ideal for him and it's probably not the race to go for."
