The idea that there are a number of horses that would be suited by one event - a lot of rain - sounds a bit like the stuff that bookies try to rule out as a related contingency so finding combinations that we are allowed to bet on could give the punter an edge.
To some extent Conor Murphy's bet at Cheltenham 2012 was a bit like that - he was betting on Henderson's horses arriving at the festival in top form.
Bookies are probably covering themselves with likes of Quevega but if you knew which race she was running in the double for Mares- World Hurdle would be another one where you might get a "bonus".
Anyway just throwing it out there and hoping we might come up with a few combinations ...
