At Ascot, Oscar Whisky looks sure to take plenty of beating in the Coral Hurdle.

Nicky Henderson's gelding crashed to the ground at the final flight when trying to concede weight to the mighty Overturn in this race 12 months ago and then went onto give 8lb and a beating to Get Me Out Of Here in the Relkeel Hurdle at Cheltenham.

The latter now renews rivalry at level weights so Oscar Whisky, who is probably best at distances short of three miles having looked a non-stayer behind Big Buck's in the World Hurdle in March, has a clear chance of confirming the form and will, justifiably, start a short-priced favourite

Nicky Henderson's Oscar Whisky will be hoping to fare better in the Grade 2 Coral Hurdle than he did twelve months ago. He fell at the last flight of hurdles when battling out the closing stages of the race with eventual winner Overturn. It's debatable whether he would have beaten the winner, but it was a great effort none the less.

This two and a half mile trip is his optimum and he is the highest rated in this four runner field. He came back to win 4 of his 5 starts after the fall signing off with a victory in the Grade 1 Aintree Hurdle in April. He goes well fresh and should win this. I don't think Get Me Out Of Here, Brampour or the improving Raya Star are quite his class and he won't mind the ground conditions at Ascot.

Get Me Out Of Here (2.45) has it all to do to beat Oscar Whisky on their Relkeel Hurdle form.

He beat us easily when he was conceding 8lb and it is levelsnow, but we have had a run when Get Me Out Of Here was impressive beating Brampour and if we are ever going to beat Oscar Whisky it’s now.
