I like him too Benjy, and have backed accordingly.

The 5/1 on Good Risk At All didn't last long.

3m around Cheltenham on Soft ground puts me off. Don't think he'll properly see it out.

In a hot little mares bumper tomorrow sharp object goes for John McConnell, she was 2nd to aurora vega l.t.o, 3rd from that race has since made an impressive winning debut over hurdles.
The trainer has a decent record when sending horses to cheltenham, 9-47 in the last five seasons, 19% strike rate.
He's currently 13-45 this season with gb runners. 2/3 with gb bumper runners.
I like her chances here and think she's worth a look

I'm still undecided on the Paddy Power Gold Cup tomorrow and will be taking a good look tonight.

One trend that will be need to be busted by the top weights is that a horse running for the first time in season has not won this race since 2015. From what I can see, there are only four runners who are not making their seasonal debut tomorrow: Unexpected Party, Notlongtillmay, Final Orders and Angels Breath. That said, we've had few horses of the quality of Stage Star and The Real Whacker during that period so I can't completely discount them.

I think I'm leaning towards Notlongtillmay or The Real Whacker right now.

I stuck up Venetia's on another forum when 20s, didn't back + now sit watching him in a cloud of blue....I'll wait until the day and see what direction he goes though.

Surely he's not good enough to win ? I understand she's in brilliant form but is that enough in a quality field? Am I missing something?

                      Taken the 20s on Sonigino.

Waited as thought he was going chasing.

Jockey has a great record with Nicholls especially hurdlers. 28 runners 6 wins and 12 2nd/3rds.

So the claim seems a worthwhile one, and it takes him to a handy mark if taken literal. Buddy One 147 now finished 3/4l infront of him at Aintree off 135.

Could've finished closer that day too.

Had a run which can be taken as a positive with Nicholls this year.

                      20/1 about, 12s in most.

Well he is getting a stone off the top one, and as my angle was he was obviously expected to be well enough in off 142 LTO before running to be bad to be true, 20/1 was too big given the stable form.

His price now wouldn't tempt me.

Triple Trade winning today. Notlongtilmay 4th in the same race last Cheltenham meeting and meets the trends for the PPGC.

Looks to have a decent chance but he does look on the small side to me. Not stopped others in the past.

Top 2 a little disappointing for me there even giving the weight.
