We have decided to retire Freedom to Dream from racing; it is clear that his heart (or, more likely, his head) isn't in it any longer. I bought him six years ago, and he has lived up to his name, winning his first hurdle, finishing 2nd in a G2, 4th in a G1, and 4th in the Martin Pipe. We have several good homes lined up for him, and he will enjoy a healthy and long retirement.
Kim asked me last night if any sales were coming up. I stayed cool, not wanting to sound too excited. However, this is a door that, once opened, just cannot be closed. Watch this space!
He's given you some fun! Bayoffreedom - glad to hear he's made it out in one piece and have some good potential homes lined up!
Look forward to hearing about the new ventures in future
"Diderot is running again in tonight's 6.30 at Windsor. Interesting whether the longer trip will bring out improvement. Owners Group comment below: Our View: DIDEROT (9st4lb) looked like he needed further when running on over 1m at this course when last seen in May, but this is the longest distance he has ever encountered. If he settles, there is no reason why he should not last home. He is well-drawn and likes fast ground, so we hope everything goes according to plan. We consider a value price to be 12/1."

Stayed on really well at a big price. Should be winning soon I'd say.
Reluctant as I am to mention the flat, there is a pretty good weekend of action coming up. Just delighted that Suprise Package can be part of it and looking forward to a big run http://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-...st-ten-minutes
I jusr realized I have been posting in the NH Forum. Anyway, let's call tomorrow the last prep race for Suprise Package before he reverts to hurdles. The blog might even appeal to Taylor Swift fans http://www.cheltenhamdream.com/blog-...f-our-last-run
Rehill Relic goes in the 5.03 at Exeter tomorrow. First time in a handicap and ready to run but will come on for the race.
For the others in my stable:
Orbys River will go chasing subject to schooling. May go to Bangor next week.
Mountain Lake had a busy spring/summer for a 4yo and developed the annoying habit of coming into season when due to run. On a break.
Old favourites:
Captain Kangaroo was being prepared for Galway when he had a hemothorax, a sort of internal bleeding. He recovered but it was cause unknown so, not wanting to risk a repeat, we have found him a good home as a hack.
Coningbeg was retired as a broodmare last year. She absorbed last year's foal but we persevered and she is currently in foal to Dartmouth, due towards the end of next March.
The Final Word - Owners group with Paul Nicholls , is declared to run on wednesday at Newton Abbot , in a bumper .@ 4-30.

Connie's 4yo Wings of Eagles half sister, The Great Nudie, won her point earlier this year and went unsold at 145k at Tatts. Ran well in a couple of bumpers and won her first hurdle race today, turning over the Mullins favourite. Hopefully good news for the value of her family tree.
