My head is telling me that Fil Dor will wi the 1.35 from the front, Vauban will battle well but not be able to get by. My heart however says otherwise and i rewatched his Vichy win in France and liked the way he seemed to quicken. Searching for confirmation bias no doubt but alas i have succombed.

Also think Saint Sam could land a surprise today, like the way he jumped and quicked LTO and those in behind were no mugs. He also beat Riviere D'etel well in the Boodles last year and is open to more improvement having raced just the once over fences.

Excellent day's racing on day 1 (and day 2). Will Michael O'Hehir lose his voice?

        Earlier races:
        1.05 Grand Jury/Minella Cocooner
        1.35 Fil d'Or/Icare Allen
        2.10 Blue Lord/Saint Sam

Couldn't resist a small bet on Cilaos Emery. Likely the price he is for a reason but we all know he would've won the Arkle about 10 years ago, right?

e: I backed the wrong outsider...

Only 2 places but last I read it's far from certain Appreciate It runs here, so you'd basically be hoping she can finish ahead of Zanahiyr, Saint Roi and Echoes In Rain. Maybe I just like the horse too much, but she seems way overpriced to me.
Probably regret bringing this up again by tomorrow afternoon, but was just looking at Bet 365's without markets for the ICH and you can get Heaven Help Us at 8/1 without Honeysuckle and Zanahiyr. Someone tell me if I'm nuts but is that not just wrong? 8/1 against Echoes In Rain and Saint Roi?

Done a punt on "In from the cold" 4.10pm for tomorrow, mark 132, I think he may be a higher mark than hes showing, plus a claimer on board, he may just place but at 33/1 I think is a great price, hopefully he runs well. Also done "Sit down Lucy" for the 12.45 at 9/1 I think she could run a big race.

Taken a swing at Eabha Grace and Nikini tomorrow.

Big prices have won this 3/4 years.

I never trust the JM Mullins bumper winners after their debut pump and dumps....

Eabha Grace is seriously well bred. Said to not work like a machine, but she looked very useful on debut.

Nikini hasn't been seen in a while but also looked seriously useful on debut, albeit in a bumper that hasn't exactly worked out. Patrick rode her like he knew she was useful.

Do respect Elliots main runner, she looks good but i'll stick to the above.

Also dutched Banntown Girl/D Lady In Red in the mares h'cap.

FDB in the h'cap chase with first time tongue tie up to his best trip.

Sea Ducor (just noticed he's been punted) in the Liffey. Might add Visionarian also.

Statuaire seems a bit overpriced at 14/1? Hoping Sir Gerhard wins this one but she does seem a bit of a forgotten horse. I haven't backed her for anything antepost so will back her today just in case she pulls off a shock.

isitmarchyet you’d think the Mullins camp would have a pretty good sense of where they are both at. If Statuaire started to shorten noticeably before the off I might have a go at this, but they seem pretty bullish about Sir G

Wouldn’t mind a GDC and SG win today to finish off a nice acca from yesterday

                              1.20 Fury Road/French Dynamite

With Chacun and Greaneteen both under different clouds I fancy Captain Guinness to finally fulfil his potential in a big race today
