Out today but have had a quick look
3.15 Ascot - Tea Clipper 6-1 Not convinced by the two at the top of the betting. Tea Clipper looks to be the value
2.40 Ascot - Frere Banbou 5-1 We all know Venetia likes a winner in the wet
3.35 Wetherby - Bravemansgame Think he may have the beating of AS today
Small Doubles and Treble
Magistrato 2.05 Ascot - Not convinced Nicholls' other horse is a stone better, seems decent value at the prices
Small E/W single

Decided to take the 14/1 for Capodanno in the Coral Gold Cup (Ladbrokes/Hennessey).
Think that will be his early season target, WPM said as much in his stable tour. He runs well and hopefully wins then he’ll mix it with the big boys at Xmas. Donn McLean really likes him too for the gold cup and he’s a decent judge imo especially with the Mullins battalion.

All over Premiumaccess 22/1 E/W for the Southern National @ Fontwell on Sunday.
Joe Tizzard is in really good form, so that's the first positive. Secondly I think he's been crying out for a longer trip like this. He had a pipe opener at the track 25 days back where he plugged on under pressure to finish 2nd of 4, and although well beat did stay on well up the stiff Fontwell finish. The extra 2f here will suit, IMO. Thirdly, he's got a more than useful enough 5lb claimer on his back, so that will aid him somewhat, too. Fourthly, his chase form at the course from two runs is 3-2 so it's not as if he has a dislike for the track.
I think he's just a really solid bet, in a race you need a horse you know will be staying on at the end, and he is one of them.

From the front, just not enough in the tank at the end.
Place money means profit though

…terrific run & it might have won had they been allowed to jump the last.
