13:30 - Saint Palais - Reminds me of Ramses De Teillee, thrown in back in Novice company. Will need some pace today, thats the concern as this fella stays. Getting weight
14:20 - Pied Piper - Not massive keen on backing Juveniles from last season. They struggle to repeat it up, but he has course form and will go into some accas
15:15 - Editeur Du Gite - Evens to place in top 2 will do for me. Front running, good jumper, expect him to get some of these less experience horses off the bride and making mistakes early on.
Like Streets Of Doyen today, want a experienced horse and this lad has been put into races like the AB and RSA, also beat Flooring Porter back in the day. New trainer, prep race under belt, this much be a race they are aiming to win unlike some of the others. Botox looks decent, but I just dont trust the Moores to have this lad in a position to win today.
I do like Coeur Serein today, has good CD and form with Ultima winner
Never been keen on these juveniles when they come back, never mind the top ones
Bella Scintilla being back, mares have won this before and has had 1 prep run
2nd fav now!!
Yeah, not doing too great this weekend... as expected as finding the cards difficult to weigh up
Be interesting how the pertemps go shortly, Irish could be edging this
Think I will be reverting to staking on Graded races this season only this season
I like Lovely Citizen in the first. Open race but he has the all important Cheltenham form and he's been running in hotter races than this.
I've done Salvador Ziggy 15/8 to place in top 4 tomorrow. We know they are coming to get qualified for the Pertemps and with top 4 required to qualify now, the place market could be a great source of winners in the Pertemps qualifiers this year.
4th place for Salvador Ziggy. Will be something I'll keep an eye on throughout the year as it could be a good market.
Not Tips , but my bet for the day at Aintree.- L. 15.
