Off to Newton Abbott with the Father In Law who part owns Priory Wood. Does anyone have any tips for the rest of the card?

Santa rossa looks a very good bet to me tomorrow
10/1 e/w 4 places
Gets 12lb off most of the field
Think shes much better than her rating suggests and she simply hasn't had chance to show it I'd be surprised if she's not a mid 140s mare the way she travels
Unless she bounces after the long lay off I can't have her out of the 4

Winners a very solid graded hurdler to be fair, not his first grade 2 win and few grade 3s in the bag as well. As you say, she's traveled into the race very nicely and ran a cracker for a mare of little experience. Only her 4th ever hurdles run, and only second run in over a year. Think she's potentially very good. Back in mares company she could be a right player imo. 16/1 for the Mares next year not quite tempting me in for one that's seemingly a quite fragile mare. In the notebook though.

3/1 looks a solid bet to me
Highest rated in the race almost bottom in the betting now

Thought Skelton's mare had decent chance there. Definitely weighted to reverse the form with the Nichols horse and yet she's almost 3 times the price. Debut win was very impressive and plenty of scope for improvement on just her third start. They seem confident she'll stay, and the course should be fine.

I'd have had him 7/4-15/8 fav after winning a grade 2 and running very respectably in the Albert bartlett
Was never really in doubt I was always confident he'd outstay the nicholls horse

I'd be absolutely all over Coach Carter in the 3:15 today but for some reason they ran him over 2 miles yesterday, it was always going to be too sharp of a trip and he was flat to the boards miles out before steaming home to get second
Still going to have a bet but only half of what I would've
