Done my money on Sky Pirate with him not lining up in the Betfair but I think Mack the Man is going to run a screamer on Sunday
7 places and 25/1.Last edited by Faugheen_Machine; 20 February 2021, 08:15 AM.

.....currently a best priced 40-1, 33-1 NRNB. I’ll keep an eye out for a ‘win today’ offer.

Really good racing to look forward to this weekend but not many bets for me. Paddy's suprisingly opened Stolen Silver at 14s on Thursday so managed to get as much as I could on as I think he will run a big race based on last year's form and you would like to think there should be improvement this year too.
I backed Edwardstone in a nice roll up and have topped up on him again as think that 12s is still a decent price for a horse who I think will won't be too far away. He's rated 146 but I think Alan King still thinks he is ahead of the handicapper. He came 5th in the Greatwood but my guess is that he could have done with a prep before that race and that is what they have done this time round knowing that a win and rise in the weights may still not stop him winning the Betfair.
I think Mack The Man could also run a very big race. Could only get a tiny amount on with Betfair who were originally 25s but he's still available at 20s now. I think Mack could be seriously well handicapped based off some good form last year and he was still in with a chance jumping the last in this last year at a price of 15/2 when brought down.
Date Meeting Time Horse Saturday Ascot 14.25 Jerrysback Saturday Ascot 15.00 Stolen Silver Saturday Ascot 15.00 Pileon Saturday Haydock 14.40 Lord Du Mesnil Sunday Newbury 15.35 Edwardstone Sunday Newbury 15.35 Mack The Man

A brilliant weekend of racing but I haven't had many bets yet.
Backed Sojourn in the week at 6/1. I quite fancy Master Tommytucker to beat Cyrname at Ascot and I'm going to back Goshen again. I can't resist Goshen given he's getting 6lb and the Triumph form of last season continues to look good. He could be finished but worth chancing at the prices.
Mack The Man for me on Sunday too YoungHustler . Managed to get a bit of the 25s with Betfair as well.

Taken a stab at Navajos Pass at the prices, think Donald will pull stumps here after this, and I feel he's matured alot from last season. A long way to come.
Remastered looks the pick at Ascot and should relish the conditions.
Yalltari could go well out in front and Venetia likes to target this race.
Think that'll be it for me, unless the kids allow me to find 10minutes to take another look at the cards
