"Escaria Ten is another nice staying type and I think there is a good prize to be won with him at this trip,” Elliott told Betfair."
That makes me thinks he's got a race in mind for escaria
May not want to blow his handicap mark by beating Pencilfulloflead
I guess the market will be a good guide

I remember reading earlier on in the season about Mullins being quite bullish about Tiger Tap Tap and that he has a nice pot in him. Backed him at Christmas and he ran nicely enough and ran into a place. Out today in the Ladbrokes hurdle off a nice weight and he's already been backed from 33s into 18s with PP.
Also DAAZZLING Danny Whizzbang looks to be nicely handicapped at Sandown if he can handle the ground 8s looks big

Mine today FWIW, great day of racing ahead and had the cricket on all morning too, safe to say I’m as popular as a wet fart in a spacesuit in our house today...
Some good early prices, I particularly like Shan Blue at 11/4 (3s with an odds boost), Hitman is favourite in that but showed keenness LTO and not sure about the decision to step him up to 2m 4f. Benatar is one I’ve already embarrassed myself on this forum about, trying to double him up with this and the Plate at Cheltenham. He looks the class horse in the race, albeit the Caspian Caviar form has looked a little strange. Ask Me Early looked tough in holding off Hold That Taught at Chepstow, and he’ll need to be to win in conditions today. The Sandown fancies have gone into a 5 fold and 4 folds/trebles too, which is usually the death knell for my selections...
At Leopardstown I’m hoping for a some beaten favourites. First time hood for GDM was the only thing putting me off, and purely the price of Fakir D’Oudairies in the second was appealing, much as though it’s difficult to see past the Chacun/Min forecast. Franco du Port will enjoy plenty of pace in the race today, and I’m backing him with similar rationale as I have antepost in the without Shishkin market for Cheltenham. I’m hoping Sharjah benefits from a tactically run race although he doesn’t often string wins together, the nature of the race could be what my other fancy Abacadabras will struggle with again I think.
Sandown:
13:15 Caribean Boy
13:50 Shan Blue
14:20 Santini
14:55 Benatar
15:30 Ask Me Early
Leopardstown:
13:05 Fakiera e/w
13:35 Fakir D’Oudairies e/w
14:10 Franco du Port
14:45 Entoucas
15:15 Sharjah
15:50 The Moyglass Flyer
Good luck all!

I'm so excited with this weekend's racing!
Horses I've backed today this weekend. I absolutely love working out the handicaps and think both Golden Jewel and The Jam Man are good bets as they have been clearly laid out for their races(but like half the field!) having both been placed last year(although now higher in weight) with Golden Jewel being particularly unlucky. Minella Times is also a real fancy as I think he ran a great race LTO and jumps well. I've been waiting for Kiltealy Briggs to step upto 3m so have backed him and also for the Ultima. Disappointed that Escaria Ten may now go there too as both owned by the McNeils as I'm guessing that the Ultima has been the plan for Kilteally.
