Aye Notebook does look a big price, Cash Back getting a good bit weight and Mullins seems to be getting into gear although there will always be some that ‘need the run’.

Quite like the look of First Flow who will like the conditions at Ascot, KB still in very good form.
Not spotted weight was that much.

      It’s still early mate

I’m interested to see how Bellshill goes for Sandy Thomson. Obviously I think they will try to win but I wonder if he’s tailed off and drops a few lbs with the national in mind. Had a big contender in seeyouatmidnight in recent years.

      • A handful of bets for me today.

2pts Bristol De Mai at 4.5 on the exchange. I was planning to back whoever was biggest price of the top three and surprised BDM is quite so big given his love for Haydock and the conditions will be in his favour.

1pt ew Relegate 5/1, 6 places and 0.5pt ew Who Dares Wins 18/1, 6 places. Relegate looks well handicapped and I could see her winning easily of she puts in even a half decent round of hurdling. If she jumps badly (as usual) she should still be suited by the long straight and pick a few off on the run in. I see her as an ew bet to nothing.

WDW is a bit of a flier. He's been running in group races in the flat and Kingy has been going well of late. He isn't thrown in off high 140s but I think he'll run a solid race at the prices.

2pt Imperial Aura 7/4 on an upward curve and although he has it to do on ratings, I think he can prove to be better than the three he's up against. Fully expect him to be in the Ryanair mix by the end of the season.

1pt Good Boy Bobby 3/1 . The favourite has to be taken on imo given his record over fences and the fact that Haydock isn't the easiest to jump round. GBB has some good back form and trip and ground will suit imo.

Thrown a few multiples and will have half an eye on Naas this afternoon.

        Good luck all

        • A small Trixie today, with horses I think have better chances than their prices.

          Indiana Jones - 12.30pm Naas - 10/3
          Shakem Up'Harry - 1.50pm Haydock - 6/1
          January Jets - 3.22 Naas - 11/1

          Good Luck today

Christ. Is something a miss? Listening to some of my mates you'd think she's unbeatable in the Champion Hurdle, yet she's odds against to beat a failed chaser and a load of handicappers

I mean looking at the market Sceau and Silver Streak have there optimum ground( my pal keeps telling me Silver actually prefers goodish ground) and with race fitness under there belt this would be the best opportunity of beating her you would think or seemingly others think. Good to see the price on a fav quite a bit bigger on the machine early doors and not only 15 mins before the race, get stuck in and back your opinion if you fancy her strong bud.

Sceau Royal certainly looks to be in fine form though and rejuvenated back over hurdles?
Silver Streak put in a best ever performance last time out.

                                Both get their ground....?

Is she odds against now? She doesn't look it on oddschecker?
