Went on the imperial double today, Aura at Ascot and Alcazar at Haydock in the stayers handicap.

Got Imperial Alcazar at 9/1 last week as well for the Stayers race at Haydock. His form has worked out well on his last run and also the second at Cheltenham to Protektorat reads really well. Hoping for a big run.

Notebook 3-1 today seems overpriced.
No real reason why, except stable expectations/comments maybe.
On form he should be the Fav, so I'll be taking that price for sure.

For some reason I keep visualising the straight at Haydock being perfect for Relegate, and she may just reel them in on the line.
Backed at 7-1 last night so pleased the money has come. As the doubt would be whether they are trying to win this one or not.

Aye Notebook does look a big price, Cash Back getting a good bit weight and Mullins seems to be getting into gear although there will always be some that ‘need the run’.

Quite like the look of First Flow who will like the conditions at Ascot, KB still in very good form.
