I was looking at Domaine for a while when he was 50's. I'll have another look in the morning and see what happens with his price.
I've backed Slate House for the race so far, and I'm banking on Tizzards coming back to form and this horse going well fresh, as this time last season he looked a weapon. 11-1 1pt ew 6 places - May back in running also, as Charlie mentioned previously.
I've also backed Golan Fortune at 11-1 2pts win in the 2-50 (was eyecatching last time and also at aintree) won the race last year and I'd expect it will be well fancied.
In the same race I could see the Nolan horse getting backed and backed at 12's 1pt ew this afternoon. Both these have now been backed in a bit tonight, and may drift in the morning.
I think I'll back Lamanver Pippin but have seen the price has already come in so will leave till the morning.
For Sunday's card I have approx 2.5pts rolling on to Tegerek in the Greatwood - the form was franked a little today when One true King got done a head in the last.
I've also backed the dodgy Emmett Mullins horse 2pt at 16-1. The Shunter.
And 2.5pts approx rolling onto Ridersonthestorm at 8-1 for the schloer chase. I like this horse and think it's classy, the possible strong pace and soft going will help, and he looks like a horse that jumping takes nothing out of him (when he gets round). He might surprise some people, but could also bomb out I suppose.
Tornado Flyer is a horse I've backed for Grade 1's and made the case on (to be let down) on here more than once - in the same race at 7/2 fav.
I will have 0.5 pts e/w on Tintangle now just as she's value versus Salsaretta on that one piece of form.... granted other factors mean they shouldn't be as close in the market but they seem too far apart right now?

Cheltenham
13.50 - Ramses De Teillee
15.00 - Edwardstone/Ballyandy/Hunters Call
Alan King always targets the Greatwood Hurdle and I'm sweet on Edwardstone and lucky to have him as the last leg of an AP EW treble. Glad to see Hunters Call back and his run last time out in the Galway Hurdle behind Aramon is excellent form imo, especially when he could easily have bounced on his second run after 3 years out. Olly Murphy's hasn't had many winners lately but a lot of horses are getting placed. The soft ground will also suit him. Ballyandy is just below Grade 1 class but always runs well and I've always thought he has one of these big handicaps in him so can't leave him out.

Agree. She's probably more likely to run out than win but at the price i think so.

King could potentially pull Edward if the ground goes very soft(unsure what they are expecting rain wise tbf). Anyone with access to skybet they are going 7P on the race which is very punter friendly.
Had Al Dancer backed up until yesterday but couldn't shake the feeling that Mister Fisher is the class horse in the race so cashed out on AD to win and backed him to place 6 places with skybet @2/1 and went with the Henderson horse for the win instead. A repeat of MF's performance in the Marsh will make him hard to beat.
Also gonna take on Fusil Raffles with Gumball. Fusil beat Gumball by 17l by two runs ago off levels but that definitely flattered FR as Gumball was right in the mix until he clattered one of the final fences. Gumball was very impressive last time out, jumping much more fluently and won rather cozily giving the impression there was more to come. Gets weight off the favourite today and 10/1 is a decent price imo. The De Bromhead mare a really interesting runner given that Put The Kettle On won this race last year.
Also a muggy single on Darver Star plus Hell Red as the first part of a jolly up double with Third Time Lucki tomorrow.
Can't wait to sit in front of the tv all day doing nothing apart from watching the racing and the golf.
Who do we have in the big prices for Saint Sonnet club today then?
My other ante post play was Happy Diva at 20/1 (4pl) - she's available at 16/1 (6pl) this morning so I've had 1 pt e/w on that.
Too hard this early in the season Al Dancer, Mister Fisher, Simply The Betts, Siruh Du Lac, Aso and Spiritofthegames I could convince myself to back if I look at it any longer.
Had the speculative bet on Tintangle last night at 33/1 (post #229 ), main bet though in that is Tornado Flyer though at 4/1 (uniboosted) 2 pts e/w... Been banging on about him for ages, one of those times that if he won I'd be absolutely livid with myself if I wasn't on. He's only giving 2lbs to Salsaretta, so technically has a 5lb swing with her compared to if they ran in a graded race...and although there are potential dangers all over the place in a handicap, I genuinely believe he's a Grade 1 horse (been proven not to be the case) however Willie said pretty much he thinks he's got Graded wins in him too, so he just HAS TO be going very, very close in this race if that's true.
Cracking days fayre today, I'm very strong on Al Dancer, was watching the 9/1 all week and hoping I'd nick 10s by Saturday and sadly the best I've managed is 13/2 but I am sweet on him.
Had small cover bet Sirruh Du Lac 10/1.
12.30 Hell Red to get us of to a flyer, permed this one with a few
12.15 Punchestown - Darver Star 11/10
1.25 Flying Scotsman 5/2
3.55 Elle Est Belle 2/1 could be a bit special for the Skeltons
Looking forward to today. Ideal day looks something like this:
12:30 - Adagio @ 6's
13:40 - not bet but I hope Fusil wins impressively to enhance his Arkle claims
14:15 - Slate House @ 10's, 14.5 (and I'll also be adding in place when he drifts to around 20's as per my write up earlier in the week)
14:!5 - Simply The Betts @ 8's - I had to add with all the rain we've had here
14:50 - Good Man Pat @ 12's
Acca
Hell Red
Kilfilum Cross
Simply The Betts
57/1
GL all. Slate House for scenes

I thought Quel Destin was value to turn him over especially if rain gets into the ground, could easily be wrong but I couldn't ignore the 4/1...
If I was having a bet in the race at the prices this would be it. The price/penalty about FR makes him a completely unattractive betting proposition IMO
It would be some effort for QD to win in that line up on chase debut, watching brief for me in that. Hobbs states Gumball is his most exciting novice and hopes he ends up in the arkle so the early ambitions of lining up in the GA will more than likely not materialise. If beaten handsomely today thou will be interesting where he goes, going forward.
