What a shit days punting from me. Well done COD and anyone else who was on Frodon. That’s two horses in 2 days who I should have backed, it’s so obvious when they win. I should have backed Rouge Vif yesterday too. The only small positive was a small stake roll up on I Am Maximus with Santini but that was it all day.

Vision Des Flos, a horse that I've kept a close on, king of wishing he on all the time - but always falling short

Surprised he's still entered for the Old Roan tomorrow, even more surprised money is coming in for him

Has to be a no for me, Tizzard not firing at the moment

      The search continues...

I've backed him. He's a favourite of mine too, and could be classed as a bit of a cliff horse for me too. I really do believe this is his optimum trip tomorrow. Seems to not be quick enough for 2m yet doesn't see the 2m 5f out strong enough at the top level. He can obviously win races and them distances and beyond, as he has done, but at a lesser level.

Wind op is interesting, but a little gutted he’s been smashed in. Probably would have chanced it if he was double figures but 5/1

Think Mindnight @ 17/2 may be the play if ground remains decent

Concerned about Itchy Feet’s jumping, nods a bit on landing. Better over soft

It's the dire stable form that puts me off having a punt on him, should easily be top 5 in a race like tomorrow but the distances the majority of hers are being beaten at present casts plenty of doubt! If he does indeed need the blow out tomorrow i'm interested in him going forward off in and around that 150 mark.

One of the part owners of Really Super has just confirmed she's been scratched due to the rain they have had/having. Expecting it to be official soft then.

Thanks for the heads up Outlaw, I'm sided with Itchy Feet and my confidence level has slightly increased with the potential that the ground will be on the softer side of good, hopefully soft come the race

Don Poli making his debut for the Skeltons tomorrow. Piling in Kev? Looks about 3 miles too short to me

Haha hadn't seen it, but I will back the mighty Don out of respect.

When you make as much as I do at this game, you can afford these novelty bets

I reckon Don Poli is in my top 10 of all time.

                      • Just the one bet today, really fancy Itchy Feet to do the business, took 7/2 last night. Has the standout novice form in the race and would have went pretty close in the Marsh imo, clean round of jumping today I'd be hopeful of him going close.

                        • Midnight Shadow should have a good chance of turning round the Sandown G1 form with Itchy Feet. 5lb better off for 3 1/2l, acts on soft and has solid course form as a hurdler. Pity about the stable form but @ 9/1 worth chancing ew with 5 places

He'll definitely look like he's going to win if he's still there in the last half mile.
                            I like horses like him.

definitely got a good EW chance but like you say i would be worried about stable form. I do think itchy feet was worth much more than the winning margin in the scilly isles though..

I've got Itchy Feet too. Would be more confident if Olly Murphy's form was better so gone EW to give me insurance. Also got Oldgrangewood when he was 9s with Sky as just can't see him out the top 5.
