Wasn't bad, came up against a lad who played good tennis and looked to take an age to take a grip of the game and was sloppy after taking control of the fifth set - and let him back in. Not ideal having a marathon game first match but might sharpen his focus a little. I didn't get on at 150 but did back him to reach semi (16s) and final (80s)

Good course form, 2lb lower in the weights tomorrow than when a good 4th last year, still only an 8 year old, was running a nice race last time out behind L’Homme Presse before clattering a fence three out! Can’t believe Diol Ker has been backed into favourite he can’t JM jump for toffee.
