Hes 8 going on 9 so even if he dropped a few lbs back to what he won off there’s likely to be a better handcapped horse next year, he only just got home this year too.
I’d be confident he is out to win today, I certainly hope so too.

I also backed Guard You Dream just after the off, light bulb moment, only to cash out the bet in play for small profit. All because my confidence has been shoot since last weekend. The only positive I can take out of this is.... I didnt loose much, kept stakes to minimal
Playing it easy today. Looking forward to the racing and sticking to two rules - Back those that have raced in the Fez and focus on the smaller races today....
Double:
- Sky Pirate: Top Weight, I really dont see this being a problem. The GB 2 mile sense last year was a joke, and I can't see anything here touch this fellow. The drift is a little concern but I can't find anything in that race that will trouble him
- Does He Know: I like Oscar Rose but think the ground and being on the sharper track could hinder him. Rather go with the race fit horse here who's already jumped a fence
I think Sky Pirate ran well, just couldn’t catch a progressive horse with more in hand. A positive for Sky Pirate is that is got around safely and his mark shouldn’t suffer too much after that performance.
Does He Know was fortunate his rival got giddy after the last fence. DHK’s ears were pricked though after the last so I still think he had more in the tank up the hill and would have won regardless which is a positive for me for the BANC if they chose that route, he’s still 25/1 which is a good price for a horse which performs consistently well at Cheltenham.

In the difficult 1.50 at Aintree Dell. Arca/Uno Mas/Optimistic Bias/Legalized
edit:
Looked like a tricky race to find the winner but in form bottom weight Uno Mas made it look easy at 11/4 (the march of the low weights continues!)Last edited by Supermaster; 24 October 2021, 02:01 PM.

Wincanton 2.45 Vision des Flos/Railway Muice
edit: Vision des Flos ran like a non staying 2m4f horse though he has won ovr 3m beating Royale Pagaille!
Back to form by good ground horse Irish Prophecy
Another great fronrunning performance by Allmankind in the feature race at Aintree and another good course run by Itchy Feet who was weighted to reverse form with Nuts Well and did so.Last edited by Supermaster; 24 October 2021, 03:20 PM.

Old Roan - like to have a little bet in this
My form this week reads U0005F9 lol so another small stake just to keep things interesting
Itchy Feet 6/1 for me, I dont like these novices coming here, there have been plenty who have tried, especially previous Arkle runners. I think the Handicappers this year have been found out, and Itchy Feet returns with a little more experience, cheekpieces on for the first time and better at the weights (compared to Nuts Well). Both ran well behind Fakir back in April which reads as decent form against a solid bench mark
Leaving Allmankind out of this. Top Weight, 5. Yup, that prep race will have done him good, but the handicap proper screws these novices over with inflated marks. First time in open company, and I still dont see how he gets 2 and a half miles. That middle distance chase race at Ayr was weak. What will this horse find towards the end of his race. Not for me.
Midnight Shadow is one to keep an eye on. Usually needs 1-2 runs before peaking - defo one for the tracker. Hit 42's on the exchange, back in to ~22's.
