I'm still undecided on the 13:30. I dont rate Bravemansgame at all, but that weight advantage is huge. Fusil Raffles has experience and he's a decent animal!
He's definitely one to watch over good ground

    Good - 111
    Good To Yielding - 1
Good To Soft - PU, 3, PU*, 1

    * went to soft later that day

Today, Good to Soft, Soft in places

Based on that, have to go with Bravemansgame but he SHOULD BE WINNING THIS RACE today
Tks for this - good analysis of Fusil though I think the key in this race was that Jacob didn't have him handy enough at the all important final bend He was left too far behind in the short straight when they quickened up.

    • Your Darling has held a tall reputation since before he won his first bumper impressively. He didn't live up to expectations over hurdles though he did manage to win a novice handicap off 116 after a wind op. I expect plenty of improvement in him over fences and it looks a good opportunity for him in a 2m 4f novice handicap chase tomorrow (3:05 Huntingdon) off 119 under Luca Morgan (who claims 5lbs). Backed to win at 4s (boosted).

Yeah, had a little go on him today, think the step up in trip will be a big help.

Also backed, forum horse of last season, Wide Receiver, @ 16/1, although he is well off at the weights he runs very well fresh (inc. his P2P), with form figures of 1-1-2. I also think the trip will suit.

Owner did say him + Eric wouldn't be running if there was no rain

Could be a 2 horse race at this rate then as Jesse Evans has just been pulled out

Lovely run by Your Darling - put a speculative 1pt roll up with Bravemansgame, which has ended up very nice indeed. Thanks for the tip!

                  • Ronan Mcnally looks like he is trying to land a big one tomorrow.

                    Petrol Head 4-20 Leopardstown - Form - 000000

Been backed across the boards/every bookie from 100-1 down to single figures with most.

Been focussing on Ascot or might have noticed it sooner.

What a shithole that place is. Went there after lockdown and it looked like something out of Chernobyl. Talk about unprepared. We were treated like animals.

Due to be at Cheltenham for the open meeting next week (like yourself), train, hotel and tickets all booked.
Wife tested positive for Covid today and is coughing her guts out in the bedroom as we speak.
                            Perfect timing - NOT.
