Yeah, what was even worse was... I saw 100+ on the exchanges and back it again. Race a great race. Caught some each way credits back, was a fun race to watch but would have been if that came off
Goodbye Dancer was reportedly thought of as FO'B's best handicapped horse at this stage last season. He won at Cheltenham in December off 124 and hit a high of 137 after falling when jumping the last at the same track on New Year's Day.
His best two runs were at Cheltenham last season, both over 3 miles, before his form tailed off. He has only beaten a total of 7 horses home during his last 4 races but as a result he is now back at a rating of 125.
At the prices in happy to take the chance that Cheltenham will bring out a big improvement tomorrow.
Smurphy Enki 4/1 with 365, only 11/4-5/2 elsewhere. Was impressive in his debut bumper, and comes from the PTP races that were contested by the likes of Fiston Des Issards, Boothill & Coqolino.
He has some money down on him from my bank for sure.

1pt ew 20/1 Goodbye Dancer 4 places
I backed him with 365 the other day 25-1 ew.
Lets hope he's on a travelling day.
I nearly messaged you to see if he was well, but thought I'd back it any way.
Gone for a Lucky 63 involving:
Allmankind, Cobra De Mai, Jen’s Boy, Smufy Enki, Some Chaos and Helmont.
Also done a single on Anna Buriam (current affair name associated angle....Andy Burnham!!) and Just Frank and the Hills special for Fav’s at UK meetings to score over 50 points.
I've always liked Tobefair and will chance him today to be trying to win and I think he's the best horse in the race in the 15:15 so had 1.5 pts e/w on him at 7/1 (some boosted to slightly above)
I'll also back the one Scooby hasn't technically put up Story Of Friends, just because it's a bigger price than mine (16/1) and I'll be annoyed if he won - both 6 places.
I don't think there are any festival winners on the card today, and I don't really see that there will be many clues either, which is a bit disappointing.
The Old Roan chase tomorrow, looks just as weak as last year to my eyes and I'm still disappointed Kalsh didn't last out in last years renewal . Anyhow basic screening shows you need to be at least rated 149 and have run at the festival in recent renewals(arguable class edge) Leaves the obvious due of Itchy & Midnight shadow. On paper with a slight weight swing on a flat deck and at more than double the prices Midnight shadow would look a strong e/w bet (especially anyone who can get on with hills 5P). The yard form absolutely stinks at present thou with most not even finishing in the same parish so it would be enough to temper enthusiasm on him for me, is it a case of Itchy having a clear class edge on the rest of the field and a G1 winner(albeit novice) should be the obvious call?
took the 6/4 on Julies Stowaway - good bumper horse and ran a nice 7th in Champion Bumper.
The bumper today at Cheltenham is fascinating - had a each way bet at 25/1 of Tile Tapper, he was in my tracker .. I like the horse who won his debut bumper (Tile Tapper 4th) a lot and the form has shown up well and next time out went Tile Tapper won nicely. There are a few unknowns in the race but could see Tile Tapper running into a place with his experience.

A problem I fear with cards and races like today at Cheltenham are trainers scheming for a handicap plot instead of trying to win a race. It was this reason I foolishly opposed Galvin and Doctor Duffy yesterday. I really like Cobra De Mai and think he will be a good bet for the Ultima but not sure if today is a try out as opposed to a genuine to win the 3 mile handicap.
