No, no, no. He runs off 138 and how much the claim is worth is completely subjective. Many good judges ignore the claim completely (as does the handicapper) when assessing form. A claim is most useful for horses carrying big weights over extended distances.

That's not to say that EdB doesn't stand a good chance but most conditionals have an allowance for a good reason. Even an excellent claimer like Gainford will not be 7lb well in compared to the likes of Townend and Blackmore.
