    Diamond Hill third reserve.
Backed 4pt ew 20-1 just in case it gets in.

Turnpike running today so may not run.
Tiger Tap Tap and Mt leinster already ran so Willie has an excuse to pull them out if he wants. Although they may well run.

will probablt back fan de blues also but witing in other prices first.

Notice that Paul Townend has jumped/been dumped off Aramon, to ride Buildmeupbuttercup.

It’s probably due to Patrick Mullins only being able to ride the topweight Aramon, but PT had ridden the horse in 9 of his 13 hurdle runs, including the last three, and it seems to have been normally his ride if he wants it.

Buildmeupbuttercup is 4lb better off with Aramon from Cheltenham. She acts on the track which is a major plus.

Bugger. Was almost hoping he'd miss out. I want to get him on board for Cheltenham before he runs a big race. Should he win this where would you expect him to end up at the Fez? Do winners of this go onto better things than handicaps?

I don't expect him to win. Sharjah won a couple of years ago but he would be the only recent one to make much of a splash at Cheltenham.

List of previous winners follows the field on here:

A couple of Champion Hurdle 2nds amongst them but looks more of a County Hurdle 'trial' to me. Interesting he's in first time cheek pieces as well. Think I'll maybe go the TWAR route for the 1000th time. Cheers for info though.

Already heavily involved with Wonder Laish.
But have also backed Mt Leinster as he looks potentially well handicapped in comparison to some already found out.
And he looked in good form the other day.
                    Looks like Diamond not running.

I feel like I've left this race late as top of market and ones I like obviously others thinking the same as all shortening!

                      Felix Desjy, Arramax and Buildmeupbuttercup

Is Shanning part of yours Archie?

I used to be in Shanning but not any more. I think they're hoping for a good run and the softening ground will do no favours to those carrying over 11st.

I took 12/1 last night so wouldn't put you off. Neither, apparently, would Willie:
Listed Novice Hurdle 2 Miles Gaucher (Paul) was impressive when winning at Punchestown last month and we are hoping he can build on that and get seriously involved here. He is in good form at home and could take beating.

Wouldn't be surprised if Aramax ended up fav in this once JP gets his dollars on !
