Betfred still not moved on their 25/1 opening show for Rouge Vif for the Tingle Creek, after his impressive win at Cheltenham over the weekend.

The rest of the market cut the horse by half, or more after his win.

The trainer said a plan isn’t formulated yet for Rouge Vif after his win, but he is very much a 2 Miler, and was always a big horse, but has strengthened this year.
Appears to suggest better ground is preferred, so maybe Good to Soft needed to really shine.

Tuesday will reveal his new handicap rating, which will be 165 or more, which will help develop the plan into solely 2M Grade chases.

I’m thinking Shloer, if he is okay in three weeks or Tingle Creek in 6 weeks.
Nothing stopping the double either, Defi did it last year, as a second season chaser.

I’m use Betfred will reduce their price tomorrow morning, if not before.

Unless they think he won’t go to Sandown.

Defi not a definite as per below so makes the 7/2 perhaps more tempting

He's in good form and we're very happy with everything he's done so far since he's come back. He disappointed in the Champion Chase at Cheltenham but there was no obvious reason for it – nothing showed up after the race. I suppose he was a bit flat on the way to the start and during the race itself. He'd been very good before then and looks to be doing really well now. He'll probably start off in the Shloer Chase [November 15] at Cheltenham and then we'll decide what to do after then. He'll stay further – as we know he can – but his future targets will depend on what happens on that first start back.
