Enjoy D'allen if they run him as he fell at the first in the national, still holds an entry in the Irish

      That's the plan.

      • Max Flamingo for me. Has some decent Fairyhouse form including including a win and a 3rd to Gabynako and Fury Road.

Trainer has been aiming him at this all season.

His whole plan is the Irish National and he is entered. The weights are out next week, but he is rated 142 and should get in. I don't know if this will affect his handicap mark or not but I don't think the second horse is a 142-rated horse. so he probably ran to his mark. I didn't really want to win our beginners chase at this time of year but we were disappointed with his jumping the last day so we said we'd go for this. Denis said he loved the ground but wouldn't want it any quicker. He'll run in the Irish National next and us small men have to dream big! Francis Casey

        • ….taken 36-1 e/w (1-6) with Lads boost for Aramax in the Irish National. Had the quality to win a Boodles and whilst he’s not seen success over bigger obstacles, 6yo can win this race.

I’ve had a few good words re: Max Flamingo & do fancy his chances with a bit of luck in running. Not much juice left in the price but have had a good cut at a boosted 11/1 with Ladbrokes.

            • Have I lost my shit thinking Champagne Platinum has an each way chance? Better ground might see his jumping improve from lto.

              • Smoking Gun sneaks in off bottom weight in the Irish National and is still 40-1.

Course winner earlier this season, will love the ground and notched up his two best rprs since moving to Gordon.

He has a great profile for this race.

Champagne P will see out the trip and off a nice weight for the trends, so has ew chance IMO.

Interesting to see Jonjo has sent over Time To Get Up. Was a 144 rated horse only 4 months ago and down to 139. Nice profile for this race and Jonjo has won this race before.

                  • Anyone seen/heard if Sir G is going to be running in the Champion Novice Hurdle? I assumed he would be, I see he's 6/1 for it with Paddy Power though. Thought that was big even before the whole thing with Constitution Hill.

There’s the 2 and a half mile race as well which will be a jog round you’d imagine for him should he go for it.
