Dublin Racing Festival.... Here are my picks for a cheeky Canadian....

Champion Hurdle: Klassical Dream

Honestly believe the king will be back. Already have him at 8/1 and 10/1 for the Champion Chase and I feel like those prices will be history after he romps up here.

Arkle Novice Chase: Bapaume

This is his year! Of course, I have him at 'nam too but honestly, Mullins horses seem to be flying and he is ramping up for the festival now so I expect good things.

Dublin Chase: Chacun Por Soi

Love CPS and this will cement his odds in the QMCC. Hopefully he is on the up and up. Nothing more to say about him I guess...

Spring Juvenile Hurdle: Rayapour

Backed this one off the back of this forum actually.... We'll see. Decent EW odds.

Irish Gold Cup: Kemboy....

I did have Delta Work here and I think it will be really close for these two but I have to go with Kemboy. He is super solid, especially here.

Thoughts welcome.

Not sure if Rayapour is a likely runner. Don't think ground will be soft enough for Klassical Dream, and Honeysuckle looks quite special. 2m Chase will be a cracker and I couldn't choose between the Mullins pair.

I think Willie Mullins will clean up the Grade 1s at this festival - his horses coming into form. Of yours I like Chacun and Kemboy but I like Sharjah in the Champion Hurdle he never seems to go off favorite but I can't figure out why. Leopardstown is one of his his favorite courses and it will be fascinating to see if he can get by Honeysuckle and Klassical. I also like Cash Back although Notebook and Fakir will be tough to beat.

Great racing and lets hope it all goes off smoothly with some good pointers for Cheltenham.

Has anyone any thoughts on Dallas des picton after O’Leary threw a wobbler over his mark in Britain the other day? Could this hurdle race be the ‘one’ now? Or will they try and get a few more lbs removed?

Charles Byrne is not averse to a long term plan, and after running around in £8k & £10k handicaps he's now entered in the ladbrokes hurdle worth £90k.
Be no surprise to see an improved performance, the horse has looked good on occasion and was touted as being well handicapped 12 months ago, but didn;t quite show it. Maybe the money wasn't worth it, or he's a genuine 126 horse.

Worth a stab.
Obviously he's won the last 2 runnings with Off You Go.

The price has gone on the Mullins favourite now and I'm not convinced he's massively well handicapped, but could be.
