    • Horrible day for racing but going Aintree, looks quite a competitive card today but wonder if the rain might cause a few problems with NR

      • Down Royal for the next 2 days. Disappointing from a betting perspective and lack of declared. But still a brave few I am excited too see in the flesh and see jumping over hurdles or Fences.

                  • Looking forward to a trip to Carlisle on Sunday. Funnily enough Carlisle is easier to get to by public transport than any of the Scottish courses bar Musselburgh. The forecast looks a bit nippy. Is there anyone who lives locally with a view on how likely it is that the meeting could get called off?

                    Thanks

I'm around 10 miles away and it's bloody cold here at the moment. It hit -4 through night and was back below freezing around 4pm today.

I'd say it will be doubtful.

Carlisle are playing Barrow at football on Saturday and if that game gets called off, I'd imagine racing will be in serious doubt.

                        Thanks FM.

We booked the train ages ago but haven't got tickets for the meeting yet. Will wait until the last minute with fingers crossed.
