In foal so won't see her now but would have been interesting to see her in the big races next season.
Absolutely. Couple of iffy jumps but two of the highest regarded novice chasers couldn't live with her at all. Very impressive.

      • EA didn't seem to travel and some of his jumps looked a bit ponderous.

Monkfish probably over the top after a hard season.

Some questions for them to answer but makes the next season even more interesting after that.

Will be interested in what Paul and Rachel say.

        • For the sport, I think that was incredibly disappointing

          • That was double disspointing for me..not only did i need monkfish or envoi for a nice scoop it just didnt live up to what i thought it would anyway, left very deflated after that!

            • Envoi Allen reported lame after the race, Rachel said he hung throughout.

                • He's a bit of a hound but does Black Op not look really well in off 143 tomorrow? Still 10s available

I was disappointed Cilaos couldn’t get past Nube Negra for 3rd, I’m not sure if he’s reached his ceiling or there’s something not quite right with him, he’s probably not quite good enough for the top table

                      • A bit like Cilaos Emery yesterday I’m pulled towards Ramielles price in the 6.30. He was 25/1 and they are currently paying 3 places. He’s disappointed in his last 2 races but I’m convinced he’s better than that and maybe Punchestown might suit??

Same here Ray, I had both Envoi and Monkfish as legs in a few doubles and trebles and didn’t think they’d both lose. Colreevy was incredible but Envoi & Monkfish were disappointing

Mullins has always said he works like a very good horse and that every race previously that he could surprise but this time he's said he has it all to do and that a place is as good as he can hope for. He'll probably go and win now !

I think so. He was 33/1 the week before Cheltenham and was punted like a good thing before travelling well and falling at the last. People definitely trusted him to run a good race and he did. These are much calmer waters and I think he'll win.
