Kobrouk is of interest at bigger prices

8 year old, 15 chase races to his name but all over in France. 2 years off the track, and Hendro sticks him in a G3 handicap hurdle.
been off since and just made, what I think was, a good reappearence over a trip and track that would have been sharp enough for him, aswell as the ground (mainly raced over soft-heavy).

Strange how they're sticking him straight in this. that hurdle run would have fixed him straight for this

I'm not one to go away from trends and that, also Hendro isn't one to win these sort of handicaps... but this is sticking out to me and screaming for me to back at 24/1

Jacob takes the ride on Robin Des Foret.

Still 16s about- i am almost certain Mullin's has a very bad handicap chasers stat for his English runners.

He does have a good record fresh, has his ideal trip here and right now has his preferred ground (that could change).

He's probably been more of a summer runner in the past but he has some decent form, and arguably it's right up there with the favourites. Even though ROTS has always looked potentially a good horse, and it's possible NTD has eeked than improvement out of him, i still don't think RDF deserves to be 4x the price in receipt of 5pds. Not at all.

Not much 16s left, but i'm just going to wait a bit and see what happens ground-wise.

I checked Cheltenham site yesterday and going was good, good to soft in places. They were expecting 20mm rain by Thursday and wintry conditions Friday. My guess good to soft, soft in places for both days.

That would be a worry for RDF- he does have fair form on softer going but i'd have liked him to get ideal conditions for me to back him as i don't think he's like 10pds well in

It hasn't been updated since yesterday @ 14.46. Worth checking this afternoon for any change overnight

Not That Fuisse has had his mark managed pretty well I'd say! Taken the 12/1 for the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup on Sunday.

I would definitely back him if I was sure of a run - he needs 5 to come out. Did he need the 3rd chase run to qualify for entry?

I personally think he should get in Ok, but you get your bet refunded if he's balloted out anyway Pendil. Yes he needed the third run to qualify.
