          He did it lovely. Never ever looked like getting beat there. Going to the king george would be a bad idea and surely wont happen.

            Just looks like he's a better horse than Altior.

            If they met over 2 miles I wouldn't be able to get excited about backing Altior if he was a similar price.



            Don't like Cyrname. Altior never landed a blow though, but can't really see any excuse.


            Well done with the 2/1 (5/2!) - head bet pays dividends.

              I still stand by my prediction that Altior will be retired by xmas. He was 14 from 14 over fences pre yesterday, I think one more defeat next time and they will call it a day. Nico looked like he knew that Altior was no longer at the peak of his powers. I would be confident he wont win another race over any trip.

                Unlikely to race before Christmas isn't he?

                By the sounds of it King George was still the plan for "round 2" but I'm not so sure that'll transpire.
