1.50 - Potters Legend @ 8/1 - Cheltenham form reads pretty well, ground will suit and he's a chaser all over. LTO at Cheltenham over hurdles was a prep for this and he runs off bottom weight.

2.25 Backed Belami Des Pictons on Monday @ 20/1 EW & Happy Diva @ 16/1 EW. Re BDP, VW didn't target the race with Cepage or Aso (Opatcho's point) which I thought was interesting because it seemed an obvious place for them to go. Will love conditions and Venetia is in flying form. After the same owners transferred Yala Enki to PN i reckon she will be out to prove a point with this fella. Happy Diva doesn't know how not to place, was unlucky last year and I think that's a fair EW price for a potentially well handicapped horse.

SDL is tempting me in again at the price. It's all about one horse for me tomorrow.

Looking forward to the extended race cards for the next two days at Cheltenham.

Soft/Heavy ground and the hill to finish will see some real staying performances and perhaps a change or two in leaders after the last obstacle.

        My choices tomorrow are

Race 1) Dancing On My Own
for HDB, twice close up to Klassical Dream incl Grade 1. Kept as Novice Hurdler, and breezed in on soft ground 2M comeback.
Up in trip not a problem, his dam was a soft/heavy ground multiple winner for Willie Mullins, RPR 144, listed class over 2M4F.

        Race 4) Pop Rockstars
One for Jonjo in a war of attrition 3M3F+ Chase. Near bottom of weights, lightly raced over fences. Last two starts have shown major lift inform, staying on with a bit of toe in both races. Hoping it’s not too much of a rise in class against seasoned operators.

        Race 5) Siruh Du Lac
Backed him shortly after initial entries as he has CD form with improvement found each time. Unbeaten last season, has soft ground form.
I think a little less rainfall may have been preferable, but I have double the current odds, so lets the roll the dice and see where it lands.

        Race 6) The Butcher Said
Trainer has got the horse to settle, and rattled off 4 wins of Novice Hurdles on Good ground. Last time, after long break, at Cheltenham he was 17lb wrong at the weights (c/w Hcap) with the odds on Fav, in another Novice Hurdle, ran well from rear and stayed on into clear 2nd, on Soft ground over track and trip. Not raised for that, now in Handicap, he gets over a stone from the Fav, and has a decent chance, 6/1.

        Race 7) Falco Blitz
Like the profile of Henderson’s first time handicapper. Four completed novice hurdles, three seconds last season and an easy win on seasonal debut, not moved up in weights for that win. Ground is the big question mark, it’s the one horse I have backed on Saturday on profile rather than going conditions, so fingers-crossed he sluices through it.

I have DOMO @ 5/1, Ramses De Teillee @ 5/1 and Siruh Du Lac @ 8/1 all from Monday. Skybet has done well to keep up with the Friday abandon and the various race moves. Just hope the horses do their jobs now.

FWIW I also had Angels Breath and Brenlan Das in two other races that were simply scrapped as part of the abandon so they have been void rather than marked as a loss. Bit of a nightmare with my EW Yankees going across all three days and some races doing one thing and some another. Again, nice one Skybet.

Good luck out there today lads.

I think all bookmakers apply the same rules on this. Void races will result in void bets and if the race is moved without entries being reopened then your bet will stand.

                        EAMNOM AU CROIC ew 16/1

Was only beaten 3 1/2 lengths by Siruh du Luc at the festival. He is 8lb better off here. Has won twice on heavy and won on soft.
The pipes have won this race an incredible 9 times since 1996 and you can guarantee this horse will be tuned up to the maximum here and ready to rumble. Should be hard to beat.

I cannot remember the last race I looked at and found myself thinking 17/18 could win.
Of the 18 left in the race there is only Us and Them that I couldn't give much of a chance too.
Tough tough race, anyone with a strong fancy in this, has better eyes than me for sure, and good luck.

Obviously - we know who's going to win now

stuck with the four i posted other day. all each way 5 place, and fingers crossed.
Just might need to finish today, to place.

Splash of Ginge and Count Meribel are the two I'm on... shouldn't really have bet as there are about 10 I liked

And I forgot I was going to back the Venetia horse

I am probably going to do Splash Of Ginge as well to go with my main bet on Pipes. Getting on bit but definitely big chance if he retains his form.
