Verdana Blue looks a solid bet for Boxing Day, anything around 5-1 is value for sure.
On ratings she's ahead by miles.
She's ok fresh. And the ground is drying and ought to be good to soft come the day.
She runs this flat speed track really well.
    New owner to impress.
taken paddies 5-1 and will back again on the day of this price is still around

Plenty of rain last few days and more coming tonight apparently.
I seem to remember the horse being good on quick ground, competitive on good to soft and poor on softer, not sure what ground is now but I’d be surprised if it dried out sufficiently to see her at her best...

Lostintranslation wins for me. Robbie too jump into the lead at the last.

In the interest of getting off the fence, Cyrname wins this. Best horse in training ends Lostintranslation's season at 3.05pm today

If he hits 3/1 though I'll change my mind

Robbie Power loves Lostintranslation and so do I. His form is very closely connected to Defi de Seuil who's very smart. I just think over this distance, he'll take down Cyrname.

Very good race though in any case with Clan and Footpad also in the mix.

Small play Clan des Obeaux today, field of just five ends any serious place betting but I expect Footpad to run a big race without winning...

I have backed Cyrname to do the King George / Gold Cup double at 33/1 as mentioned elsewhere... with free bets

Massively respect Lostintranslation but no juice in his price so I'll just hope he gets beaten but can't deny he's got a massive chance.

Ante-post I'm also on Footpad for the GC 50/1 (free) and Ryanair 22/1 e/w so a big run from him won't upset me.

Thistlecrack, La Bague Au Roi or Aso winning will not be enjoyable from a punting perspective but all have a chance.

                          Small but interesting field
                          Well that went well
