Betfair Exchange kindly voided my ante post bets, voided the market, and opened a brand new ante post market. I spend an hour messaging their 'service' team arguing this was wrong. They told me twice it was because the venue had changed, then moved to 'the field might be different'. Eventually they simply said their trader had decided to void the market.

in my view, I think they are 100% wrong to have done so. It's same venue and unless I've missed it the entries are not being re-opened. I had some fancy prices on one runner, but no chance of getting these again. Still, here's always the chance the ground might be firm on the day, rather than like the glue I needed!

Betfair customer services are non existent, I still have an ongoing dispute with them regarding the abandoned South Africa v England ODI from early December, they literally have no-one employed who understands, I got asked what I meant by ‘orders’ when I was on their online ‘chat’, so I am not even remotely surprised you’ve had similarly poor experiences.
As for your bet I can only assume the time lapse is what drives the decision, 2 weeks may have been the trigger, I’m only guessing so who knows...

But you want, and expect, is a bookmaker to communicate exactly what their decision is and demonstrate knowledge on the matter, sadly betfair are another company who must outsource their customer services to people with no understanding of sport or gambling, it's very frustrating...

Yes, that's what I'd expect. Betfair should be ashamed of their decision to void the Exchange ante post market.

Well, I was seriously annoyed, and I'm still disappointed about it. However I've managed to get it all back on in their new ante post market although i gave up a few points on the price. I guess it's now up to the snow not hitting the course too hard and of course the horse delivering! I love this race, so getting a good run on the day will be half the job, but I'm in the game to win, so here's hoping. Good luck to all

Ramses De Teillee for me @ 12/1 EW. I fancied him over Christmas but was worried the race would come too soon after Aintree, so personally delighted at an extra 2 weeks. On paper that Aintree run looks like a shocker because he's 7th and beaten 94L, but it really wasn't. He didn't take to the fences at all and it was a run littered with mistake after mistake. Despite this, he kept delivering himself back into the race, travelled eye catchingly strongly, the mistakes just caught up with him. He looked to me like a horse in rude health that day, and I thought he had an experience advantage over some of the market principles here. He's run very well in this race before, will love the heavy conditions and the Pipe yard are in form with a 30% strike rate over the last 14 days. He doesn't leap off the page as a brilliant bet, it's more of a gentle building of ticks in the plus column. I think he'll really enjoy being back at Chepstow over their obstacles vs Aintree. I'd like to see Tom Scudamore ride him up with the pace (if there is any) because making up ground at Chepstow on heavy will be challenging but yeh, 5 places 12/1 EW RDT feels solid enough to me.
