Well done yesterday.

I've backed One for Rosie and smashed Thyme Hill but otherwise UK racing is all a bit uninspiring today.
Looking forward to seeing Kemboy and hope he shows his form to give the owners some belated cheer, think Road to Respect will run him close.
Good luck all

3 I've picked out for tomorrows card at Leopardstown:
12.45 - Sempo - Disappointed when favourite on his first start this year but alot of josephs have improved alot for their 2nd run and hes in good form at the minute. he was 6th behind envoi allen in last years champion bumper and not a bad price 4/1
1.55 - Champagne Classic - Think CC will turn out to be Giggi's RSA horse and looks a pacier animal than BoD who is very short for how competitive of a race it is tomorrow. Minella Indo improves as the season goes on so happy to leave him alone until the spring festivals at least and CS really needs to scrub up his jumping to be competitive over 3 miles. 7/2
2.30 - Couer Sublime - Lots of talk about this race over the past few days and I would be happy with either result looking forward to March but CS looks a very much improved animal this season and his hurdling is electric. KD could well improve a great deal from his first run but at the prices and with the 3lb allowance Im happy to take a chance on CS at 3s.

Had a late wake up this morning as was under the weather.
Thought I was hallucinating when I saw the final decs at Chelters and The Jam Man was initially 12/1 for the 3M Hcap Hurdle that Au Petit Soins won by seven lengths last year (before going off single figures in the Astaire Hurdle next time out).
It’s the owner/trainer of The Jam Man’s belief that his horse should be given the chance to ‘do a Paisley Park’ and end up in the Stayers with a chance this season, so this race tomorrow looks a really obvious one to go for to see if he can be better than a handicapper.
The British handicapper has added 5lb to his Irish mark, but if he could be a Stayers runner then running off 144 and not 139, is not particularly relevant. Took the odds on offer and hope that the dream continues beyond tomorrow for the connections."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

Thrown a few darts today:
Ok Corral - a rating in the 140's isn't the ceiling of his talents. I'm choosing to ignore the 4 mile run and I never felt like the Ladbroke would be a race that's suit. This race should be much more to his liking. Pop him out up front and get into a rhythm. 8/1ew.
Emitom - if he is a player in the stayer he'll need to be there abouts in what looks an average Rekeel hurdle. 3/1.
Goodbye Dancer - won at Cheltenham lto but up in the weights as a result and running out of the handicap today. I think he'll fly up the hill, it's just a question of he's too far back by then. The softer the ground, better his chance. 9/1ew.
Done the Tom Lacey (12/1) and Fergal O'Brien (11/1) horses in the bumper, both each way.
Sir Chauvelin 14:15 Muss - he's a bit of a cliff horse for me. I've been waiting for him to appear back over hurdles and this race looks like it'll suit. Backed from 10/1 to 6/1 so someone agrees. 13/2 ew.
Added them in a Canadian and each way acca. Took the Lacey horse for this bet.Last edited by Faugheen_Machine; 1 January 2020, 07:34 AM.
