Better than any interest rate still.
England winning the Rugby World Cup won't eclipse the Cricket this year, no way.
If England win the world cup ( rugby ) Could be a popular choice - Farrell - (/Quote).

The Rugby World Cup in Japan is just not going to have the same effect as the Cricket World Cup did in this country.
Im not going to steam in at 1/4 ... for something in December, but I think it's throwing money away to back anyone else for the SPOTY.
You could just back England to win the Rugby. My 'egg' is already in the All Blacks camp though .... waiting on a nice 4 figure return if they win itLast edited by Kevloaf; 26 August 2019, 11:42 PM.

Some odd prices around in tonights T20 games.
Kent are in freefall and even found a way of losing the other night against Surrey so shouldn’t be favs against Gloucester, Nabi gone is a big loss to Kent.
This is a live game so watch the runs, Canterbury notorious for slowing up especially on worn end of season decks glued together, I’ll be looking to get under 170/175 and hope first inns is a 150/155/160 then get with them to defend.
Surrey shouldn’t be favs against Essex for me, can’t qualify.

Although they left some grass on last night these decks are generally slow and get slower, only real hope chasing sides have is if it dews up, but I’ve managed to get against Kent in every run chase for a while now so done OK.
Kent now failed to win any of their last 7 games yet can still qualify with a win at Chelmsford tonight, which is staggering...

Don’t be surprised if Sussex don’t put it in tonight, guaranteed a home quarter final game they play Gloucester who need something from the game to guarantee a home tie.
Saw some 2.1 Gloucester earlier which could be value...

Everton impressed me against Lincoln the other night. Kean and Iwobi look like giving us some much needed pace and goal threat at the top end of the pitch so I'll do the Everton / Gloucester double.

And once again Kent were lower than 1.50 to chase down when they just can’t chase.
Cheer on Everton for you...

At my local track Chester in the 2.45, I've backed Stivers at 17/4 (3 places) 1/4 the odds with 365
Aquired by Dermort Weld and starting off at Chester just stands out as very bizarre - I can't see any reason at all they'd start off at Chester unless they had very, very strong vibes that he'd take to the track and show up well - otherwise he could have found an opening in Ireland?
I've obviously got no clue about the merit of his G1 form from South America, but this race only has 6 runners and 3 of them (bottom 3 in the market) are behind the top 2 in the market on ratings, and I don't think this horse will need to be that good to finish in the first half of the race...
with a chance that is is WAY better than his mark, and could bolt up at 17/4 (or 5/1 2 places)

Read an article about it, although welds record sending them over ain’t brilliant.
At Beverley races today.
Decent bets on
Good birthday 3-1
Sheepscar lad 11-2
Gylo 9-4
