I've sided with cap York in the first against the hot pot Ricci horse,cap york was with Mullins initially and flagged up one to follow. 10-1 against the sp fav worth a shot. Kotikova has been kept under wraps so expecting a big run there , they look two decent ew plays for today against Mullins.

Well done with T'crack FM, didn't have a bet on the day, nor yesterday, have been drawn in today by Djakadam, I really like this horse and should be well suited by the Lexus I reckon. Anyway sole bet of the Christmas period for me, but a big one so I'll have to dig my brown trousers out of the wardrobe

Well that could have gone better, wouldn't mind but I didn't even see the race, someone arrived with a tribe of kids and I had to "help" one of them to watch something involving cartoon chipmunks, que sera, don't suppose I would have enjoyed the race much anyway. Time to get the beer in for the new year's Eve party, forget horse racing till next year, and get used to all types of cartoon animals filling the screen till next week, apparently I'm lined up for one about a Panda.

It was a great race to watch and good to see Don Poli back to his old self. It looks like he'll need every yard of the grand national trip.

Unconvinced by firm if both the big 3 might led chases - visually thustlecrack looked good but thought it was a bit of a stop go ride and might need to settle better in march - last years 4 milers the value now
