Haven't gone into tomorrow in any real depth but I did see Afaire D'Honneur is going in the 2.25, I'm convinced he's got a big handicap in him so I couldn't ignore the 12s on offer, nice weight too....

I've took Theo's Charm 16/1 and Westren Warrior 11/1 in that.

Started off thinking I wouldn't be having many bets tomorrow, now I'm nearly in double figures.

This 2.25 has some strong age trends, 5yo have won 5 of last 6, 6yo have a couple of wins too, you certainly want to be with young unexposed types...

Thankfully I got on before Segal announced his selections, which makes a nice change. My biggest bet at Haydock is Straidnahanna in the last. B365 made a bit of a rik and went 12/1 this afternoon. I missed that but got 15/2 which I feel is still overpriced.

One bet for me tomorrow, Coneygree to win then go on to win the Gold cup, sizeable bet considering, but my Chelters portfolio is looking a bit sad after Vautour

It sounds like the meeting may be in doubt. Raining again at Haydock, with more forecast to come.

Just arrived home. A great days racing and i didn't think the ground was too bad all things considered. Cue Card was brilliant to my eye and I thought Coneygree was very good also after returning from such a long layoff.

Glad you had a good day FM, and hopefully avoided the downpours....

The big races are coming thick and fast; next up is the Hennessey. I've backed three already.

2pts Native River 16/1: has a good profile for this race being a progressive second season chaser with a nice racing weight. Ran a good race at the Cheltenham festival, followed by winning at the Aintree festival. I do worry that he doesn't always travel well in his races, and he won't be the last horse on the bridle but he does find for pressure.

2pts ew Theatre Guide 33/1: another Tizzard horse, he has been placed twice in the race before so was surprised to see him available at those odds. He ran some great races last season but as a result is rated higher this time around. He seems to have been around forever but is still a 9 year old. I like his chances at those prices.

2pts ew Blacklion 14/1: I expected him to contest the betfair chase this weekend so backed him for the Hennessey when I noticed he'd been scratched from that race. It was a bit of an impulsive bet and I expected his price to crash but 14/1 is still available.

                            Anyone got any strong opinions?

Henri parry Morgan had a nibble 20-1 ew this am has shortened 16-1, there,s alot to like about his form and 2nd to native river who looks too short
Now for me. 16-1 is still juicy enough, may be another one to keep an eye on.
