Anyone have any early views on this ?
Good ground guaranteed, in fact the biggest concern is over watering and false ground, there are a few here who have been kept back from recent festivals and who are fairly fresh, the one that appeals most is Philip Hobbs Wait for Me.
Third in the Cheltenham bumper behind Moon Racer and a coupel of uncompetitive soft ground wins he progressed to finish 4th in the County behind Superb Story, he has ducked recent engagements and may well have been saved for this.
Ch'tibello has some great form to his name and must rate a massive danger.

Keeping in with the Hobbs love in I note Brother Tedd is declared in the staying hurdle on the card, a race that also sees Buywise set to go ???

The card also contains a decent 2m 5f chase where I think Volnay de Thaix could take alot of beating.....

Wait For Me is the one I like also. Haven't played yet as I've had a few non runners with my ante post bets recently. A change of codes but I like Outback Traveler in the Victoria Cup on Saturday. Again, I'll probably wait until day of race before I play.

I am away all week this week so struggling to look deep into races. But I like Silver Concorde in the Chester Cup tomorrow. He turned out lame over the Fest and no way DW would be running him tomorrow if he wasn't ready. A Champion Bumper winner with flat form reading 11171, he only carries 9.3 and must be a player..

Going to try John Constable - a bit of a cliff horse but Evan targets this.

Some great trends there OV, thanks.
For this years renewal we should ignore the weight as only 4 qualify.
I'm still sweet on Wait for Me but Gwafa is growing on me....

All blue OV, suggests he's the Pricewise pick and the boys from the bible have been climbing in before paper goes to print....
