Baily Green was too greedy. Has put Gods own in a different line

    Sandymount Duke @ 25/1
    Coeur Blimey @ 20/1
    Captain Conan @ 14/1

I like Sandymount Duke too mayo.

I'm not massively surprised that Mullins isn't firing, I thought this could be the case after changing priorities in recent weeks but I am gutted I missed Gods Own to turn over Vautour who on quick ground is as good as there is over 2m.

One I'm with tomorrow is in the bumper, 6.05, Grotesque.
Ran very green on debut behind Bacardy's when beaten just half a length and learned from that to win his maiden at Gowran Park.
16/1 tomorrow with the services of Nina looks a big price to me....

Thats not your worst bet ever Mayo

Couer Blimey disappointing at Cheltenham but beat Ballyandy before that.
Nina booking an eyecatcher for Grotesque though so siding with Ista's pick.

Sandymount probably needs ground a bit better but should be fresh. Ill follow you in.
I think this must be last chance saloon for CC and think Ill pass up on that. Trappy race but Croco Bay and Pass the hat the two I am looking at.

Plenty of money for Woodland Opera but Ill go with Baden.

        Gl all.

        Ended up with

        Baden @ 11/1
        Sandymount Duke @ 25/1
        Djakadam @ 7/1
        Grotesque @ 16/1
        Pass The Hat @ 12/1
        Copper Kay @ 11/1
        Lucky 63, 63 bets * £0.50 EW

Anyone taking on Cue Card today ?

I put Djakadam in my multi based on his John Durkan run and price. Pity there arent three places.

Yorkhill should have been put away after Aintree ran a shocker which was nothing to do will Ruby.Didnt take his usual pull and was never travelling. Near finished in reverse it was that tired. Goes to show how difficult it is to do the big three festivals in such a short period of time. The greatest horse ive ever seen - Sprinter Sacre won at all three and it nearly finished him. Took 2 years to come back to himself. Very very few horses win at all 3 festivals. I suspect Douvan will do it but he is so much better than the other novices he hasnt had a difficult race yet. It will be much more difficult to do it next year in open company.

Vautour - I'm delighted he was beat (i'm sorry for anyone who done their money i dont mean i am delighted you lost). Mullins has messed this horse about this season. Running over 3m, 2.5m and 2miles. Maintaining all season until a week before chelt he was a 3miler then changing the week of the race. Then saying again he was going to 3miles at Punchestown and then changing minds again to drop a full mile to 2miles. The main reason i am delighted is the knock on effect. Had he won easily we would have had the full will he wont he go for the champion chase next year. Now it should be another go at the king george. If he was campaigned as a 2miler they would have messed about with Douvan trip. Douvan is a monster over 2miles. Leave him where he is. Douvan v Sprinter Sacre in the champion chase next year please (yes i know Sprinter is aging but wasnt it great to see him back).
P.s what a run by Simonsig, such a shame the best years of his career have been stolen by injuries. He could have been an all time great. Used to work with Sprinter and apparently their work was frightening, with Simonsig coming out on top.

My selections today mixed between lucky 15s and some singles. If its anything like yesterday these will be stuffed.
              3.40pm - No bet
4.20pm - Woodland opera 7s ew, baden 11s is interesting but havent had a nibble yet
              4.55pm - Acappella Bourgeois 5s, Sandymount dukes 25s ew
5.30pm - No bet. Hope cue card does it but its been a long season and is too skinny in price for me
              6.05pm - Moon racer 3s, Grotesque 16s ew
              6.40pm - Colms dream 6/1 (NAP), Pairofbrowneyes 7s
              7.15pm - the nipper 3s

I hope MTOY wins that now. He is doing all three and had a hard race at Aintree but not having run beforehand he might still outclass these.

Have to have a NAP in one of the races and they are all difficult lol. Nah, seen a bit of word for him floating around a few places and besides that in very very good form. Has got a hike in the weights but im hoping he hasnt done improving.
