Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

All work in progress rather than finished article OV. Sprinter by far the most impressive in my view.

The long-absent Pont Alexandre could make his chasing debut at Gowran Park on Saturday.

The seven-year-old French recruit was hugely impressive on his first two starts for Willie Mullins two seasons ago and was sent off a hot favourite for the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle at the 2013 Cheltenham Festival.

He had to make do with minor honours, finishing third behind The New One, and has been sidelined by injury since then.

Pont Alexandre could, however, now make his comeback in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase.

Mullins said: "Pont Alexandre is entered at Gowran Park on Saturday.

"We have a number of entries and will decide later in the week.

"He's in good form and has schooled well."

You're not wrong OV, I certainly wouldn't want to be running something with dubious stamina with the field they could be facing, non stop gallop for 3m2f with a steep uphill finish, half a dozen that could feasibly track Coneygree, doubt if many could get past him, but any chinks in stayability will surely be exposed.

                          Pont Alexandre, remember him ?
The name alone brings back cold sweats and reminders of losses in The New One's Neptune but he has novice chase entries at Gowran Park on Sat and Thurles and Fairyhouse next week having been off the track since that race....

                            More cold sweats !!!

A quick review of Saturday's Ascot card and I find Captain Chris entered in the big chase.

Need to make sure head rules heart in the coming days....

Pont Alexander caused some pain here too.

I thought Sir Des was most impressive of all the horses mentioned on this thread.
