Good luck everyone who plays today, I'm heading off to Sandown but thought I'd share my thoughts for today:
3.15 I'm prepared to give S Sacre one last chance, in his pomp he'd be 5s on to win this, 9/2 refelcts his form but if NH says he's good enough to do himself justice I can't miss out at that price.
3.50 Short list of 4 - The Package, Bobs Worth, Paint the Clouds and Guess Again, main bet will probably be The Package
5.00 Dresden - this is begining to look like another 'follow over a cliff' horse for me but this step up in trip will suit and can go very close today
5.35 Polly Peachum - expected her to be a shade of odds on and cannot understand why she's 15/8, beat a short head in the race last year and this looks a lesser renewal, max bet for me.
Plenty of talk about the ground, wouldn't talk anyone off playing over the distances today, if the watering can has been over applied and the overnight rain has got into the ground it will be false and ride like soft/loose, a couple of wide margin winners possible.
