Vautour and Don Poli, two of the most impressive winners at last week's Cheltenham Festival, head a strong entry for the Grade 1 Ryanair Gold Cup at Fairyhouse on Easter Sunday, April 5th.
A total of 29 entries, an increase of 12 on last year, have been made for the €100,000 contest and Willie Mullins is responsible for nine of those.
Along with the hugely impressive Grade 1 JLT Novices' Chase winner Vautour and the Grade 1 RSA Chase winner Don Poli, the champion trainer, who has yet to win this race, has also entered unbeaten chasers Vroum Vroum Mag and Gitane Du Berlais.
Other interesting contenders are the Gordon Elliott-trained Clarcam, Colm Murphy's recent Naas winner Empire Of Dirt, the Stuart Crawford-trained Fine Rightly and the four-time winner Duke Of Navan, trained in the UK by Nicky Richards.
