Champion Hunter in the mix
Mossey Joe is all set to line up in the www.thetote.com Galway Plate as long as the ground is not testing.
Declan McNamara's 10-year-old was an impressive 20-length winner of Stratford's Champion Hunter Chase with Cheltenham winner Salsify way back in third.
He has won his last four races, all in the hands of amateur jockey Damien Skehan, who will be on board once more.
Currently on 11st 6lb in the handicap, that may rise if top-weight Rebel Fitz does not take part.
"It's all systems go and he's in good form. He remains settled at home," said McNamara.
"We'll be wanting quick ground and he definitely won't run if it's testing.
"He has 11st 6lb at the moment and Damien (Skehan) will ride him again."

The €200,000 thetote.com Galway Plate goes off on Wednesday 31 July and all races on this day are sponsored by Tote Ireland.*Gordon Elliott plans to have as many as five runners in the race, including Carlito Brigante, Jamsie Hall, Romanesco, and Dantes King.*
*
Tom Mullins, who won the race last season with Bob Lingo, will have a very strong team for this year’s renewal and said the Plate will be a "suitable target" for Klepht, who ran well on the flat at Killarney recently.
"I’ll also run Bob Lingo, who won the race for us last year. He got bogged down on the heavy ground last winter and he couldn’t match up against the big boys, so we’ll switch him back to the Plate and we know that he likes Galway. He was good around there last year and he is another that likes good ground," he said.
"Fosters Cross looked in great form with himself when he won on the flat at Leopardstown and he has won three times around Galway. He has won the big amateur handicap and he nearly won the Guinness Galway Hurdle, but this year I have had the Plate in mind for him and, while he’ll have a few entries down there, I am more inclined to let him take his chance in the Plate."
Peter Bowen plans to run the progressive Kians Delight, with Tom O’Brien on board, while*Philip Hobbs will be represented by The Disengager, who comes on the back of an impressive victory at Stratford in May.
Michael Winters has yet to decide on a final target for last year’s Galway Hurdle winner Rebel Fitz and currently holds an entry in the Galway Plate.
“We’ll see, but my worry is that, if we get another very warm week, the heat and humidity up there might affect him. He was a bit flat the last day at Killarney, but he is fine again now. Barry Geraghty is due to come down and sit on him this week as well so we’ll more than likely make a final decision about which race he’ll run in next weekend."

Top two out so weights will go up
Hidden Cyclone is the latest horse to be all but ruled out of the www.thetote.com Galway Plate next Wednesday.
With original top weight Rebel Fitz more likely to take in another engagement at the meeting, trainer Shark Hanlon is set to keep his stable star away from the feature race of the Festival for at least a year.
"I'm 95% sure he won't go for the Plate, he'll go for the conditions race the day before," Hanlon told At The Races.
"It's the same trip. He's rated 150 and there mightn't be a higher-rated horse than him.
"It's his first run for six months and while it would be lovely to go and win a Plate, it can be a rough race and a lot of things can happen in it.
"We'll be hoping this race has a smaller field and he'll have a right chance.
"In a year's time he might be Plate horse.
"If he'd had a run before now the Plate may have been the race, but the other race is valuable in its own right."
