If it was royal Newbury or Royal York he'd have so many more winners

That stiff ascot finish just catches a lot of them out in the last 100 yards

      Folgaria @ 25/1 Coronation Stakes

Just looking at the Coronation Stakes it could be a corker.

If Opera Singer runs to what we think she can, she should win. However, Folgaria looks a nice each way option to me.
Unbeaten in 6 races, Elmalka (4/1) franks her form winning the 1000 guineas and she's won over a mile on soft, g/s and good. Looks like she'll be running at Longchamp on Sunday so a bit early for a Yankee but have taken the 25/1

        He's after a 4 1/2F race...with only 6 runners

Just had my first ascot antepost bet

Passenger 9/1 for the Prince of Wales

Strategy is now going to be to get King of steel covered in a roll up and have those two against the field

Hoping passenger can be like his sire Ulysses and improve a lot at 4

I like this Thread , Not very Good on the Flat , but still take an interest , and started taking a " cheltenham " approach.
backing at small stakes A/P for the big races , when i see an entry .. i.e. Rubies are Red at chester this week. for the Oaks... .

Bullet and gabaldon both seem keen on coming over after winning qualifiers last night

                    Yes he won well

Was your typical ballydoyle relay race with the pacemaker doing all the donkey work and him just drafting in behind

Thought Bullet looked especially interesting, showed great acceleration at the business end and hit the line hard… trainer has previous too

Wish I could have got on the 10s that Lads originally pushed Henry Longfellow to for the St. James’ Palace… you can put a line through that run today imo and I think we’ll see a different horse at Ascot… hopefully the fav will hold his price up when the market settles

Worth noting willie has run first ethical diamond

And now later today highwind and bunting on the flat

Worth keeping an eye on those when the handicap markets go up

Ethical diamond ran well losing a head bobbing finish, though I'd say he dogged it a little

She probably has no chance but we're going to see our first ever Chad Brown runner at Ascot this year as he's bringing over Sweet Rebecca for the Coronation, surprised he hasn't decided to bring over another like Carl Spackler for company to run in the Queen Anne

33/1 about Chad Brown’s first runner is worth backing blind imo, let alone one that has a perfect 2 from 2 record
