Arabian Crown out of the Derby.

Both the Oaks and Derby look underwhelming.

It's the St. Marks Basilica 2000 Guineas today 4.35 at Cologne

A wide open race with the current favourite being the David Menuisier trained Devil's Point.

I'm going for an e/w on Penalty @ 10/1 hoping that he can reproduce his impressive debut form.

I agree with Penalty, I liked his debut a lot

It was very good, shame he couldn't back it up lto but willing to put a line through that at 10/1.

Maigret looks a nice one as well, drifting at the moment so might have a bit on him too.

Best horse in the race but a 2nd, my luck with punting at the moment summed up there

I think the jockey cost the win there

A tough one that, out to 12/1 in to 6/1 just gave himself too much to do but that was some finish

                Fat Jockey Penalty reaction

Pretty sure he used to ride in England but went to Germany so makes sense he couldn't hack it here, silvestre de sousa having a blinder mind in this comeback season

It was obviously his plan to sit at the back of the pack after breaking so well but he had to make up so much ground.

Derby and oaks both look impossible races as it stands
Think I can get the bet out of the bin looking at the weather forecast

He may well get the soft ground his action suggests he badly needs

Ryan moore may have ride of the year locked up after the derby

Los angeles ran a nice race with a view to the leger, though 7/1 doesn't appeal much

Rather back highbury for the leger tbh but need to see him in better company first
