City of Troy will be my selection for the 2000 guineas on Saturday. Impressive two year old season culminated with a win in the Dewhurst RPR 124 and has been a very short priced favourite for this ever since. Trainer not coy about his ability and potential and whilst it's hard to completely ignore Aidan's comments it's not impossible he gets beaten in the guineas before going onto better things throughout the season much like Auguste Rodin.
Having said that there's really nothing in behind that I'm all that excited about, I think Rosallion definitely has his chance but nothing from the Godolphin 2 year old crop struck me as 'Guineas winner' and elsewhere in the market looks fairly meh for win purposes Imo.
No sort of price but probably the most likely winner so let's hope we're 2 from 2 after Saturday afternoon.
