20/1 for the classic I got priced up earlier, what a beast. I thought this years 3 year olds weren't so good but you have him, Maynun and Nysos not in the derby

He looked good there from the front, easy win for him. Thanks for highlighting before Zach

      • Sierra Leone has completely thrown that away by refusing to run in a straight line

Wouldve won a couple of lengths if running in anything like a straight line

Would've surely been thrown out if crossing the line first anyway though

            • What a race! Agonisingly close for Sierra and Forever Young! All seemingly went well for Fierceness but threw in the towel again.

              • Surely Sierra Leone will be demoted to 3rd

He impeded the other horse all the way down the straight

Kind of glad he didn't cross the line first

Just for me to celebrate knowing he was going to get chucked out

Haven't seen the head on yet but he was bumping the shit out of Forever Young

                  • Watched it back at least 5 times now, MAJOR pocket talk but Gaffalione has thrown that away, not even to mention he stopped riding in the final 50 yards

                    • I wouldn't blame the jockey

The horse clearly has a mind of its own and the horse wanted to go left not straight and horses are a lot stronger than the bloke on their back

He delivered the horse to win the race at the top of the straight he did his job

The horse though had other ideas

And even if he'd won by 5 lengths with no first past the post concession and the way he impeded the 3rd we wouldn't have got paid with the way the stewarding works in the US

I know he was a huge winner for you but the pain would've been worse had he won that after the interference just to lose in the stewards room

At least it wasn't as bad as the Ben Curtis ride on Honor Marie, was not much more he could have done wrong, in the wrong position every step of the way and didn't react at any time.

                        • So we had two 2nd's a 3rd and a 9th.

                          Some tough luck that.

That being said I loved a forum wager for the weekend.

                          Same again next year?

The flat forum is normally quiet so it's good to see activity.

Great debate and a near miss… how about doing one for Royal Ascot?
