She looked incredibly impressive didn't she. Will take a very good one to beat her if she trains on.

Think we'll see the same again from the Boys in Blue tomorrow. Shadow of Light just looks an absolute superstar to me and should be fav on what hes produced and Silver Peak could top a fantastic two days for Goldolphin. They do look to have the upper hand over AOB's 2yo's this year to my eye.

Annoying for my futurity bets as I guess he gets rerouted there if okay.

That's two bruised foots for two targets now though.

        • Does anyone know if Antepost bets on Jan Brueghel are lost or are they voided?
I wasn't sure if they are voided if the horse isn't allowed to run

Bloody good Question especially as over here he'd be declared fully fit.

I've heard Paddies are doing a Justice refund as a free bet, Hills said they will get back to me in 48 hours

The rules of racing suggest that the bet is most likely lost, so let’s hope the bookmakers do the right thing and make discretionary refunds, as in Jans case then it’s challengeable as to whether the horse is fit to race or not

Basically, ante post is ‘all in run or not, or entered’…….where a R4 is NOT applied as a result of withdrawal

Void is normally only applied to ante post where there is a change of race conditions ala Turners and Nat Hunt this season

                  • Sounds like they REALLY fancied Him as well. Perhaps the Coolmore boys had a few quid on. They'll be fighting for refunds.

                    • I'm aware of the Rules of Ante post betting, my question was more in regard to whether Bookies refunded stakes on horses that had been withdrawn by vets. My understanding now is this will only be on a discretionary basis and as it's with William Hill I'm not holding much hope

I think you are right Lobos as Aiden was quoted as saying Jan was a Group 1 horse in with 8st 7lbs!
