Boysgetpaid a betting syndicate of about 17,000 are in for a day tomorrow at the Karaka Millions.
They've got a 50,000 dollar ante post bet on Cool 'N' Fast to win a Million. 850 of them will be there cheering him on at Ellerslie, some serious partying

British racing could really learn a thing or 2 from the syndicate model in Aus, syndicate horses in a lot of the top races

Ellerslie hosts the Karaka Millions night which looks set to be a great card of races. It's attracting some of the top jocks from Australia in J-Mac, Jamie Kah etc.
Ellerslie opened it's doors last Sunday after 2 years of renovations with 6 races to test out the new track, it's quick! Legarto was the star of the day and she didn't disappoint, she'll be back in the Aotearoa classic.

Only two other races available to punt ante post at the moment or wait until nrnb, both very open but for this post I'm concentrating on the 2YO race, so thought I would put this on.

        Karaka Million 2YO

Te Akau/Fortuna are attempting to win this for the eighth consecutive time. I think based on this stat alone it might be worth a few doubles darts. They might start a handful of runners but these are the obvious two I like. Neither have jockeys booked yet but I would be very happy with Opie Bosson and Warren Kennedy.

        Cool 'N' Fast @ 3/1

        Bellatrix Star @ 4/1

JMac soon put a stop that stat!

With Baffert not sending any horses to yakteen, right now it is looking like another mediocre derby year..

Which horses have been put up in here that should be cashed if possible?

So the owner's stuck with BB

Owners who have 3-year-olds with trainer Bob Baffert that were nominated to the Triple Crown did not move those horses to other barns by Monday, meaning they will not be eligible to run in the Kentucky Derby on May 4.

It'll still be a good race but you really want to see the very best 3 YO's going head to head. Time will tell.

Looking forward to Storm Boy's story, some reputation going into the slipper now.

absolute stud Nysos. What a shame he cant run in the derby due to CDI being hell bent on banning baffert

He was awesome today, Prat came off the turn and he settled it so easily and yeah real shame he won't be at Kentucky.

Hills have been denying me for weeks when trying to get him priced up for the BC Classic and now if they do the odds will be way worse!

That sucks, I too was looking for a price prior to today's race. Fierceness chucking in a shocker just now too! Step up Locked.
