She got checked at least a couple of times on her way through and with a cleaner run, she’d have won comfortably for me. Her form ties in with Porta on last years Juv Fillies run so I can see F&M turf suiting,
I’d like a price on Opera for the Turf but can’t see that she’s priced up? …Found won the Turf after an unlucky run in her first Arc, so dependent on how she runs next week and possibly in the Irish Champion, I can see that is the route she goes

    • Hi all, I’m not a great student of the flat but interesting to learn. I’ve won tickets to day 1 of Goodwood next week and was wondering if anyone has any pointers or things to look out for etc? Course form and Mark Johnston horses are the two things I’ve been told to take note of. Thanks in advance and please do move this post if it doesn’t belong here.

      • Played Jackstown for the BC Sprint at 33/1. No brainer bet

        - Baffert Trained
        - 95 Beyer after a 2 YEAR lay off
        - Entered in the Bing Crosby this weekend against the current market fav with Juan Hernandez jocked up
        - Division is woeful with no Elite Power/Gunite and is just waiting for one grab it by the neck

Agree the 33s with cash out is a no brainer if you can get it. It’s a deep race though isn’t it… the interesting one for me is Straight No Chaser who hit a 107 beyer last year before picking up an injury. If something wins well it’s sure to go short for the sprint.

              • The forgotten 3 year old Speak Easy is running today at Saratoga, 100/1 for the classic I do remember he was favoured to beat Dornoch in the fountain of youth before throwing Irad off and getting injured

Mcpeek has confirmed she's going, 8/1 still available

Not sure why SNC was scratched? …but thought The Chosen Vron did it very well last night and he now looks the clear leader in what for me looks a weak division… 4/1 / 7/2 looks very fair for the BC Sprint

Best price 11/2 now… great shout at 14s Zach… personally I don’t think she’ll be fast enough to beat the boys in the Travers but if she did then surely she’d be targeted at the Classic as opposed to the Distaff… currently 25s for the Classic and the linked double with Idiomatic in the Distaff pays 125 - 129/1 …I’ve had a little speculative go on this in case I’m wrong

https://youtu.be/eDhSqIsSx98?si=deVXwzKwCQK9c8sc around 38:40, mcpeek isn't a fan of running her in the classic at all
